RE: HANKY-PANKY HOLIDAZE at CRÊPE DE PARIS CABARET

Need to add some pizzazz to your holiday? This holiday, satisfy that craving for something out of the ordinary at the Crêpe de Paris Cabaret in Rainier Square with Hanky-Panky Holidaze.

Hanky-Panky Holidaze is a funny, saucy and touching holiday show that celebrates the season with an irreverent flair.

HIghlighting the talents of Angie Louise, Joanne Klein and Elizabeth Nestlerode, Hanky-Panky Holidaze delivers such holiday fare as “My Simple Christmas Wish”, “Papa Hung the Lights”, “Come Round Again”, “Fruitcake Blues”, an array of Holiday Gifts for Kids (from Those Who Don’t Have Any), and an Elton John medley that you’ve never heard before.

Including holiday songs by Tom Lehrer, Jason Robert Brown, and Hugh Martin, Hanky-Panky Holidaze also features music by Frank Loesser, Cole Porter, Jule Styne and Maurice Ravel, and an assortment of original holiday tunes by local artists, including Scott Warrender, Victor Janusz, Angie Louise and Bob De Dea.

The four women who make up the cast and crew have a wealth of stage credits ranging from cabaret to appearances at the 5th Avenue Theatre, Village Theatre, Seattle Children’s Theatre, and Civic Light Opera.

Bob De Dea is the show’s producer. Bob has been an active member of Seattle’s theatre community for many years. His credits as a writer and composer include the two-man musical Ya Got Trouble! An Affair with Robert Preston. For the past nineteen years he has been the tenor and arranger for his own a cappella vocal group, Kitchen Sync, and he has contributed songs for several musical reviews around town.

The show is being produced at the intimate and lovely Crêpe de Paris in Rainier Square.

The show runs from December 1 through December 24 with performances throughout the week. Dinner seating begins at 6:30 and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. on Sundays, 8:00 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, and 8:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
